The day-to-day operations of Decatur Street Capital are managed by CEO Thomas Johnson, with ongoing support from an experienced team of advisors comprised of industry leaders and seasoned business operators.

Founder & CEO
Thomas Johnson is the Founder and CEO of Decatur Street Capital. Prior to founding DSC in 2021, Thomas worked at M3 Capital Partners, a global real estate investment and advisory firm that manages a portfolio with more than $14 billion of total assets. At M3, Thomas was involved in the firm’s principal investment and capital advisory businesses, where he worked closely with management teams at portfolio companies and advisory clients across multiple sectors to develop and execute strategic investment and operating initiatives. Prior to M3, Thomas worked at General Electric in the company’s Financial Management Program, a 2-year, intensive leadership program that combined coursework and concentrated job assignments to develop future leaders of the company. Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
Originally from Omaha, NE, Thomas is an avid outdoorsman and lifelong fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
